Lieutenant Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield will host the Lieutenant Governor's Garden Party on July 1 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Government House in Regina.

"We've got a wonderful Canada Day event planned this year, and we hope everyone will join us at Government House to celebrate our nation's birthday," said Lieutenant Governor Solomon Schofield.

The Garden Party is free of charge. Festivities will begin at 1:00 PM with music by the Regina Riot Dixieland Band, RCMP horses, clowns, children's activities, and complimentary refreshments and snacks. The formal program will begin at 2:25 pm and will include a fly past from 15-Wing, and a performance by Brad Johner and the Johner Boys.

This year, the event will feature a multicultural theme, highlighted by Chinese Lion Dancers, Regina Punjabi Association Dancers, and Youth Ambassadors from the Italian, Balaton Hungarian, Russian, Kyiv Ukrainian, and Punjabi Communities. Guests are invited to wear a cultural outfit and join in celebrating Canada's diversity! In the event of rain, the festivities will be moved indoors. Minimal seating will be provided at the main stage so guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
