The Lomond Beef Club held their March meeting at Oungre Park on March 5.
Recently, the club raffled off a Target Concepts dart gun, donated by Graham McKenzie, at the Ashworth Bull Sale and raised $801.39.
This spring will be a busy time for the 4-H club as the kids are involved in a tire recycling project including the Souris Valley, Lomond and Lake Alma RMs. If anyone has old tires to recycle, please contact Graham McKenzie at 306-456-2526 to get a 4-H member in your area.
A steak fry is scheduled for April 13 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Tribune Hall. The kids will be auctioned off as slaves. There will also be a Dutch hat auction and a spring basket being raffled off.
The next meeting is April 7 at Oungre Park.
