The Southeast Connection Sport, Culture & Recreation District will host a pep rally on Saturday, February 8 at the Weyburn Junior High School.

The pep rally has been organized to prepare and celebrate Team South East attending the Saskatchewan Winter Games in Prince Albert from February 16-22.

Athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff from various south east communities such as Weyburn, Estevan, Carlyle, Moosomin and more will gather at the Weyburn Junior High School for the pep rally at 1 p.m. The event is open to the public.

The Saskatchewan Games Program is a provincial multi sport event that prepares developing athletes for a higher level of competition. The Games experience is one that will inspire dreams, build champions and create long-lasting friendships.

During the pep rally, Team South East will receive their uniforms, meet all of the other sport teams, review the Sask Games Code of Conduct, recite the Games Oath and learn more about the games.

Come out and support Team South East on February 8 and at the Games February 16-22.
