Police seize cocaine, arrest/charge two women

The Weyburn Criminal Investigative Unit arrested and charged the two women with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine. The women, aged 21 and 27 were arrested with approximately three ounces of cocaine being seized.

Police said the amount of cocaine could carry a street value of between $9,000 and $12,000.

The arrests were made as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Kirby Rae Kiraly, 27, made her first court appearance on March 18. She has been released from custody and will make a second court appearance on Tuesday, April 8.

The 21-year-old accused was released from custody and will make her first court appearance on Tuesday, April 22.

The Criminal Investigative Unit is an integrated unit consisting of members of the Weyburn Police Service and the RCMP.
