Stars of the Rotary Festival honoured

The stars of the Music Festival held throughout the month gathered at the Grace United Church March 20 to accept their awards and perform.

The Weyburn Co-operative Association award of $300 and a trophy for best performance by a band was presented to the Weyburn Comprehensive School Concert Band.


Dawson Alexander and Kristen Keith were presented with the Weyburn Security award of $150 each for piano.


The Weyburn Security vocal award of $200 was presented to David Anderson.


The YF Wives vocal award of $100 went to Assiniboia Park Elementary School Grades 3 and 4.


The Weyburn Music Festival individual verse trophies were presented to Kieran Hamel and Mason Sidloski.


Trophies for the Weyburn Music Festival instrumental were presented to Shayne Frederick and Bridget Alexander.


Ross and Lindsay Van de Weyer were presented $50 each for the MC Music Craft piano duet.


The MC Music Craft piano, Canadian 12 and Under trophies were presented to Tori Mahnke and Ben Manning.


Western Financial Group piano 12 and Under trophies were presented to Lindsay Van de Weyer and Khloe Bedore.


Alejandro Olvera was presented with $50 for Weyburn Instrumental from Western Financial Group.


The Stewart Steel vocal award of $300 was presented to Maddy Lazurko, Sabrina Mainil, Keisha Mowchenko, Jade Pelechaty, Andrea Sidloski and Chelsey Van Stavern.


The Quota International of Weyburn award of $25 each for individual speech was presented to Arliss Sidloski and Morgan Sidloski. The Weyburn Junior High Grade 9 band was presented the Quota International of Weyburn Brass award of $50.


Ross Van de Weyer was the winner of the Weimer's Hometown piano award of $75. The Weimer's Hometown vocal award of $75 was presented to Arliss Sidloski. Bailey Cole was presented with the Weimer's Hometown instrumental award of $75.


Mitch Bellefleur and Tylan Charlton were presented $50 each for piano from the Order of the Eastern Star.


Trophies for Piano from Campbell Oilfield Rentals were presented to Abby Akins, Mikaila Mahnke, Shayne Frederick and Hanna Bratrud.


The Weyburn Inner Wheel vocal award of $100 was presented to David Anderson.


Assiniboia Park Elementary School Grade 4 and 5 was presented the Weyburn Auto Dealers Grade 1-6 Ensemble award of $250.


Tylan Charlton was presented the Beta Sigma Phi XiXi Chapter piano award of $100.


The St. Michael School Community Council instrumental award of $50 each was presented to Bridget Alexander and Shayne Frederick.


The Arleigh PUlfer Memorial Award of $100 and a trophy for piano was presented to Morgan Sidloski.


The Bruce Robinson Memorial Award of $100 and a trophy for piano was presented to Mitch Bellefleur.


Ariel Erhaze and Thomas Chiller were each presented trophiesfrom The Weyburn School Music Auxiliary for instrumental. The Weyburn Schoo Music Auxiliary vocal trophies were presented to Torri Hill, Ross Van de Weyer and Mason Charlton and Ben Sidloski.


Vocal awards of $100 each from the South East Cornerstone School Division were presented to Haig School Grades 2, 2/3 choir and the Weyburn Comprehensive School Combined Choir.


The Southeast Cornerstone School Division instrumental $100 awards were presented to Rekina Browatzke, Haig School Grades 5/6 and the Weyburn Comprehensive School Jazz Band.


Assiniboia Park School Grades 1 and 2 were presented $25 and a triphy from the Weyburn Elementary Schools Community Councils for vocal.

The Building Pride Grant for Vocal of $100 was presented to Autumn Alexander and Shayne Frederick.


Keisha Mowchenko was presented $400 for vocal from Jerry Mainil Limited.


The Shirley Bartlett Memorial vocal award of $200 was presented to Megan Woodard.


The Doris Wheeler Scholarship of $50 for instrumental went to the Souris School Grades 5 and 6.


The Weyburn Young Fellows Club instrumental award of $300 was presented to Thomas Schiller.


The Weyburn Junior High Honour Band received the Weyburn and District Lioness Club $200 award.


The Weyburn Comprehensive School Stars show choir was presented $200 from the Weyburn and District Lioness Club for vocal.


Taylor Cameron and Jayda Cameron were presented with $100 each from the Alexandria Rebekah Lodge for musical theatre.


The Weyburn Arts Council $150 award for piano was presented to Benjamin Sidloski.


Marissa Van Staveren received $75 and Arliss Sidloski received $50 for the Weyburn Credit Union award in piano.


Mogan Sidloski was presented $125 from the Weyburn Credit Union in vocal.


The MNP LLP piano award of $100 was presented to Olivia Boehm.


The Weyburn Security Multidisciplinary award of $100 was presented to Keisha Mowchenko.


Mikaila Mahnke was presented $150 for vocal from the Knights of Columbus.


The Knights of Columbus woodwind $125 award was presented to Autumn Alexander.


Benjamin Sidloski received $100, Olivia Boehm and Tylan Charlton received $50 each from Andrew Agencies for piano.


The Weyburn School Music Auxiliary $75 award each for vocal was presented to Emily Richards and Paris Lyon.


The Weyburn School Music Auxiliary for instrumental was presented to Adrienne LaRochelle, Chantel Cooke and Shae Kordus.


Caroline Manning was presented $50 from the Weyburn School Music Auxiliary for piano.


The Holy Family Roman Catholic School Division vocal ensemble award of $125 was presented to Karly Moser, Joanne Stewart, Nicole Laird, Dexter Happ, Justin Claude and Megan Woodard.


The Royal Canadian Legion band $75 and trophy was presented to St. Michael School Concert Band.


Assiniboia Park School Grade 6 and Lindee Larson were presented the Regina Mazda award of $100 each.


Jenna Chessall and Jenna Neufeld both received $50 from Barber Motors for vocals and the St. Michael School Encore Choir received $100.


The Orpheus Club award of $100 for vocal folk song was presented to Keisha Mowchenko.


The Margaret Cugnet Piano Duet Award of $100 each was presented to Benjamin Sidloski and Mason Charlton.


Keisha Mowchenko was presented the Rotary Club Alex Findlay Memorial Award of $400 for piano.


The Rotary Club Library Award of $200 for vocal was presented to Ensley Akins.
