Walking up to the podium and taking the microphone for the first time in Tosczak Auctions, auctioneer Jeff Tosczak said he could feel the energy of the room.

More than 700 people came out to bid on the items at Tosczak Auctions first consignment auction on February 6.

"It went great," said Tosczak. "I couldn't believe the amount of people that were there. The response was awesome and we've heard nothing but great feedback."

The auction was filled with everything from vehicles to furniture and unique collectable items. Of the 108 items, 106 sold.

"It was exciting. There has been a lot of anticipation to get to this point. It was a long time coming," he said. "I would like to thank everyone for coming out to the auction and I would also like to thank everyone who trusted us to sell their items."

The next auction is set for Thursday, March 20. It will be about a three hour auction and Tosczak said he urges people to get their items in early as they only have time and space for so many items.

"We actually had to turn many items away the last few weeks leading up to this sale as we were full up and knew we would be running over that three hour mark," said Tosczak. "At Tosczak Auctions, we want to make this a simple and rewarding experience for our sellers and buyers alike. Bring us your items and let us do the work."

To register as a buyer or seller, visit www.tosczak auctions.com, or stop in at their location which is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed over lunch hour) or call 306-842-3500.
