WAGES

Salary of a retired Prime Minister - $450,000 for life.

Salary of a retired Politician - $174,000 for life.

Salary of House Speakers - $223,500 for life.

Salary of Majority/Minority Leader - $194,400 for life.

Average salary of a Soldier - $40,000 a year.

Average income for Pensioners - $12,000 a year.

Now, that is ridiculous.

Facebook saying of the week: When I get old, I'm going to move in with my kids/step kids, hog the computer, pay no bills, eat all the food, trash the house, and when asked to clean, pitch a fit like it's killing me! Wow, that is some great advice, but chances are that isn't going to happen.

Pet peeve of the week: Listening to kids disrespect their parents in public (and at home). The endless huffing and puffing when asked to do something is ridiculous. I'm not even going to elaborate on this now, as I think maybe that subject would take up a whole column.

That's just me......let me know what you think!
