Western Canadian Gymnastics Championships to be held in Saskatoon

Weyburn Airborne Gymnasts will be competing in Gymnastics Saskatchewan's 2014 Western Canadian Gymnastics Championships in Saskatoon from April 24- 26 at Prairieland Park.

Weyburn Airborne Gymnasts will be competing in Gymnastics Saskatchewan's 2014 Western Canadian Gymnastics Championships in Saskatoon from April 24- 26 at Prairieland Park.

Over 400 athletes, coaches and officials will take part in the championships which showcase Women's and Men's artistic gymnastics. The athletes, ranging in age from 8 to 18 years, will represent Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories in the hopes of earning Western Championship titles in Team, All Around and Event finals.

Talented gymnasts from eight clubs will be vying for spots on Team Saskatchewan at Trials events held throughout the province this winter.

Teams from the Calico Gymnastics Club in Humboldt, the Can-Am Gymnastics Club in Saskatoon, Regina's Gymnastics Adventure Inc., the Marian Gymnastics Club in Saskatoon, the Prince Albert Aerials, Regina's Queen City Kinsmen Gymnastics Club, Taiso Gymnastics Club from Saskatoon and the Weyburn Airborne Gymnastics Club.

Final teams will be named in early April.
