Golf season at the Weyburn Golf Club officially started April 23.

The driving range is also open and the pro- shop is fully stocked with PUMA and Titleist merchandise.

Since the 2011 flood, the golf course has been under construction. That construction is now complete and the course is back to being played as it was meant to be.

"We have switched our nines around. All the renovations are done so it will be nice to get the course put back together the way it was meant to be played," said Brett Berkner, head golf professional.

Tee times can now be booked through the pro-shop by calling 306-842-5581 or online at weyburngolfclub.ca.

The Cenovus Junior Golf Program will be running again beginning May 4. Juniors between the ages of six and 18 can call the pro-shop to register at 306-842-5881. The cost is $30.

The Weyburn Golf Club also offers private lessons from one of their CPGA instructors. Lessons are $40 for one, or three one-hour sessions for $100 with Berkner or Ryan Galay.
