Weyburn Quota announces Women of the Year nominees

Ten nominees for the 2014 Quota International of Weyburn Women of the Year Awards were announced at the nominees' tea on March 23 at Grace United Church.

The awards will be presented at a luncheon being held at McKenna Hall on April 7 at noon, with guest speaker Joyce E. Bellous who is a transformational educator, leader, consultant, mentor and speaker, as well as former Weyburn resident.

The four categories include: the SaskPower Workplace Excellence Award; the Access Communications Exceptional Entrepreneur Award; the Investors Group Young Women of Distinction Award; and the newly named Quota International of Weyburn M. Isabelle Butters Community Service Award.

Tickets for the luncheon are $30 and available at Brady's House of Flowers.
